what is error code 64?
Check engine light keeps turning on. It reads a the error code "64".
I looked it up in the repair book, but it does not show it. I reset the computer, and the light stays off for about 1-2 days, then goes back on. What could this be . I would really apreciate it if somebody would tell me. Thank you, MIKEYPOOH1

If its not in there its probably something unimportant like the Cam Shaft sensor...mine has been loose or disconnected for about 3 weeks now and my light always stays on. I suppose I should check that before something actually BAD happens and I dont know it.

If you go to www.allpar.com/fix/80s-codes.html it says it is a catalytic converter efficiency faliure The code are for for the 90's cars as well as some for older models too.Hope this helps
