What Should Mazda do with the Miata Next

i think they should put a rotary engine into it and make it a little bit bigger

Needs just a bit more power. In australia they have addressed this with a factory turbo car. It is not supercar fast but it is much better than the 110 rwhp that a stock 1.8 here in the US gets. Handling is fine out of the box for the average driver. The new cars look pimp compared to the 1st gen cars for sure.

I think the style should be more and it should have at least 20 more HP.

very true, i would like to see mazda make the miata have enough power to beat the new neon's that everyone talkes about.

I could be wrong, but I've read that Mazda is going to release a MazdaSpeed Miata that has factory turbo for the 2004 model (?).

you guys want a faster Miata? ever been to the Flyin' Miata website? how about throwing a turbo kit on and getting almost 250 wheel hp? that is exactly what I am going to do with a '99 this coming winter!!! I will try to keep a running story and pictures from start to finish of the install!
