what should i do? 1 or 2 amps?
Hi im getting new component speakers put in along with 2 12" JBL subs...i was wondering if i should get a seperate smaller amp to power the infinity kappa 60.5 component speakers...
so waht do you guys think? 1 big amp to power the components and subs or 1 small amp and 1 medium sized amp here are the specs on the components: Sensitivity 90 dB Frequency Response 45 - 21k Hz RMS Power Range (Watts) 2-90 Peak Power Handling (Watts) 270 thanks alot for any help/opinions. |

2 amps homie you could run your components of the same amp but i really wouldnt, you risk blowing out your mids and it will just sound better with it own amp...................................GETHIGH

2 will be a better choice, both for power purposes, tuning, and if you ever want to upgrade it will make it much easier.

definatly two. for you subs you want to run on low frequencys depending on your prefrence and setup generaly only frequencys below 45hz i have mine set to about 65-70hz and lower myself it just sounds better that way i think. 2 amps so you can use low pass filter on subs and to match it up so you have the right amout of power going to the speekers and subs on a single amp will be hell
