Tacoma electrical problem
When replacing the battery on my 99 Tacoma, I let the positive connector come in contact with the negative terminal. Dead. My question is: Is there a fusible link on the postive cable that I'm not seeing? There is part of the cable that has a section of thick foam wrapped in electrical tape. Is this the fusible link? Are there any main fuses that are most likely to be blown and where are they? The last truck I had was an 84 Toyota 4x4, and it didn't look anything like this one under the hood! I'm out here in the desert without an honest mechanic for miles. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
