Resetting ecu worth anything

I heard from another message board that resetting your ecu can clear up emissions and maybe give you a couple extra horse power. Is this true. Anybody have any dynos that prove this? Thanks

No, the only thing it will do is that the ECU must start its adaptions from scratch.

But what if you were to reset it, then drive hard. Wouldn't that make it have aggresive fuel curves and what not?

If you start driving aggressive it will adapt to that, even without a reset.
