The Decision is down to Black or Gold

We are picking up our new grocery getter tomarrow morning. A 2002 Accord EX V6 sedan. However, we still have narrowed it down to black or gold in color. I'm curious what your opinions are of the two color choices we are deciding between.

Well, the black Accords look quite nice, but this is your grocery getter, and you've already got more than one really nice, sleek cars to your name, so you might want to consider the less flashy gold. If it was my money, though, I'd go with the black.

I know my fiance leans more towards the black. If it were the coup instead of the sedan it would abosolutly be the black but I lean towards the gold for the sedan. If we get the black, I want to change the badging to gold sometime down the line.

Summer time can be as hot as hell to.

I'd still get black though if you are going to try and keep it looking good.

I like to keep my vehicles clean as I can. I've heard the same horror stories of trying to keep a black car clean, but when they are, they look real real sharp.

It looks like its going to be the black one. My fiance is picking it up as I type this so I am waiting for the phone call to confirm it. Although we want to put on the gold emblems next spring

Well, it was looking like black, but my fiance had the final choice since she was the one on the lot closing the deal and she decided on [ANNOYING SOCCER ANNOUNCER] GOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLDDDDDDDDDD!!!!! [/ANNOYING SOCCER ANNOUNCER] So, while black would have been nice, we have a gold grocery getter now. Not to worry though. As I've said before, I liked the gold so I am happy. I cant wait to drive it when I get back to Lansing this weekend.

gold makes an accord loook ugly, but my lexus is gold and man....you dont even have to wash it, maybe once a month to help the paint. But you cant see dirt on that thing at all.....very nice.

Black does look good when clean and for that.....its usually looking dirty right after you wash it and drive it down the street =)
