quality lowering springs???

i have a '00 beetle and im looking to lower it around 1.8"-2.0" , the only springs that i have seen that do this are dropzone and sprint springs, ive heard bad things about dropzone though. anyway does anyone have any first hand experience with these springs?? or could you recommend a brand of spring that would lower my car that much?
