Upcoming mclaren at christies

My dad talked to some one that works in christies, and he said there will be a mclaren for sale in december. The person who works there said the car has been registered, and he will have info about the car in a week. I will be sure to tell you all about it.

Thanks for the update man - that's good news. If you can find out what the chassis number is of the car that is up for auction, we always appreciate that. You might not need to though, as Christies is fairly good about including all the details in their lot descriptions.

An auction can be a great place to pick up a McLaren F1. There are hardly ever a large number of F1 speculators there. Some insanely low prices have been seen from McLaren F1's at auction, including the #007 car that you guys test drove. If you haven't visited QV500.com, there's some excellent info there including their market report on the car which can be found at this link:

Re: Upcoming mclaren at christies

Christies Auctions are held in several different location - not always the Jack Barclay studio in London. I wouldn't go changing your vacation plans just yet.
