I really like both, since my father has the new 7-series, but for all-season and all around, I'd go for the Audi A8(can't wait until the S8 come out), reason is for the Quattro All-wheel.

Cool, there's really no similarities, except, if you compare the two cars steering wheels, whey both look like the same. ALso, did, you see the new Volkswagen Phaeton, that looks awesome. A new competitor for the 7-series, mercedes s-class, audi A8 4.2 V8 and 4.2 W12. More the W12 for Audi, since the Phaeton will have the same W12.

The D3 (Audi A8L) would rule over the 745 any day...but maybe I'm biased

Anyway the A8 don't stand a chance with the 740il ,and how's it gonna be up to the 745 level of class the only car that's close in comparison is the Mercedes s class the Jag not even in the picture of real world luxury road test by magazine . Bimmer always win all comparison in class that's why its the ultimate driving machine . 4 out of 10 would choose the 7 serie from the Jag and the Audi . I like the Audi too but I'm not gonna pick it over the bimmer my opinion doesn't matter I just go by what's tested and personal driving experience with all car.

I'd go with a new aluminum Jaguar XJR. It weighs several hundred pounds less than the competition. It has more powerful brakes for 2006.

Would not even be close.

I test drove the A8 against the car that i bought a 760Li.

These cars just do not compair, the high center consual on the Audi drove me nuts, the interior of the MB S class looks like all the other cars they build.

BMW set the standard and the rest are going to take cues from their cars.
