got a question....
today should have been the first day i finally drove my 240. all i have to do is put the rear calipers on. all the calipers i got, i bought used on ebay. i found in the instal that on is f**ked up. so i have to get a new rear right claiper. my question is, if i get the new rear right, is it a smart idea to get a new rear left? will it make a difference if one is older than the other? The other rear (left) is ok. just need some opinions.

most likely there wont be enough of a difference to feel... but since the right caliper is messed up the left one probably got treated the same way.

i don't see why not. if the left one works, it works. you might expect it to die sooner though if it's older...

i figure if there both working they'll have pretty much the same clamping force. besides i think the car that there off of was hit in the right rear, so that may be the cause of the problem. its more the fact that replacement calipers aren't cheap and i need my car on the road to quit my shit job.
