Turbo & Tranny 2
The car is an 2003 Acura RSX with an automatic tranny and a stage I turbocharger. Daily, running 5psi of boost, on the track, looking forward to running as high as 10psi. Is it in my best interest to rebuild the stock tranny or to get a new high performance tranny? When would someone make one decision over the other? What are billet axles and is it necessary to consider them in my situation? The shop that installed my turbo suggest that those with a stick getting a turbo also get a stage 3 or stage 4 clutch. Should I with my automatic tranny consider upgrading the torque converter or is the stock part sufficient?
Just to let whoever answers these questions, I was looking at Level 10's website and they developed a PTS kit that includes: reaction plates and bands; complete set of bushings, washers, and bearings (produced by Torrington); complete set of seals and gaskets.

they make upgraded torque converters. Also, i would probably go with those axels you saw just to be on the safe side so you dont snap yours in 1/2.
