Well the basic way i did the decaling was to cut the decal just a bit bigger than the piece to be covered.
Then run it under a tap for 3 seconds then dryoff.
Lay the decal on the item to be coated.
Take a medium soft brush and keep dabbing on micrsol.
Leave for a few seconds to soften.
Then keep dabbing on the solution while gently pressing.
Be very gentle with it tho.
Leave again for 10-20 seconds then dab some more.
Keep adding solution till everything is all done.

Hope that helps

Keep the rims white - its a good combo. BTW, what wheels are you using?

I think you should get black or gun metal wheels to match the silver/carbon fiber

Those white wheels look mean as! I say leave them on. But it's your car so in the end it's your decision.
The carbon fibre (fiber if you are in the US) looks really good, it's worth the time and patience.
Well done

I agree!

I don't though, like the white rims. If you do keep them paint the lug nuts at least (dot of steel paint on lug nut, using toothpic) then clearcoat, as right now they look too toyish not realistic enough.

suggestions for you for rim choices would be a silver racing rim to accent the pearl- not chrome (though IMO it would look good realistically). but silver.

The rims were off a ford focus wrc car i put chrome rims on.
I will play with photo shop and put up some various combos of paint to see what they could look like, i myself was thinking of painting them silver, as i think white suits darker more bold colours. But we will see.
Cheers for the positve comments dudes, its much apreciated

Looks great! I say gunmetal rims with a bright silver lip. And the CF looks great!

Looks awesome. I think maybe black wheels would look pretty cool, or maybe have like silver and carbon fiber wheels somehow.

Look very good and clean.. only thing I would change is to make the whole hood in Carbon fiber... cos right now it look like: "hey, I don't have money to buy full CF hood, but look at my headlight ! "

i did actualy make the hood in carbon but had far too many wrinkles in it. just couldnt get rid of them, so annoying. i thing if the decal was just a little bit thicker then it would probably make life a lot easier.
My fav carbon decal so far was in the tamiya repsol honda rcv kit, it was dark thick and had lots and lots of detail. if only tamiya would make it in A4 sheets, i wouldnt care what cost it was i would buy it

bet if ya paid someone enough money they would make one, lol.
was just seeing if i could cover the part effectively, as this is a tester for my abilities before i start my enzo.

plus it could be a carbon dress up cover for the manifold, now that isnt unbelievable is it.
