a quick question

is it normal for the maintenance light on a 95 integra rs non vtec to flash for like 20 seconds on start up then go out . i just bought the car and am new to it. I changed the oil and coolant and fuel filter when i bought it , and i wondered if it isnt normal does it need to be reset?

wut u need to do is complete the circuit at the ecu (which is located on the passenger side by where their feet would be), an then turn the car to acc (two clicks) an then tell us how many times it flashes.

u can look up online (try google.com) the exact how-to of reading the codes, but its very basic so u shouldn't have too many problems. once u figure that out (how many flashes) we can tell u wut the problem is.

For example, eight long flashes and six short flashes equals 86
Code 01 is equal to one short flash, Code 10 is equal to one long flash

where to check

i know on my old toyota pu i had to short two connnections under the hood to give me codes, but where is it on these cars and what terminals do i short out?
