Father Son Project, What To Get
My father and I are starting our first import progect, but are still un sure of the car. It can be used or new, we want something that will last, yet can still be competitive. We plan on putting serious time and money into this. What do you guys suggest, we had previously looked into the NSX but have decided to look at other options.
thanx guys N2ner |

Why import???
Ask yourself one question. How many import cars do you see at classic car cruises and shows. I can`t recall many in the recent past. I`ve only seen a few that were 25 years or older.

I would also like a father son project but with different end result. I want a cheap safe car for my son that we bring back to good condision. I'm thinking a 92-93 BMW 325 with a bad motor. Any advise on what to look for, what to avoid. I'm thinking $2000-2500 for the car if it's in very good shape but bad motor. I think I can buy a salvage yard motor for $1200, a rebuilt for $2200. What's the cost of rebuilding on my own? Remember cheap safe reliable, and son want cool.
