68 Muncie 4-speed Transmission
I was just checking the oil level in my 68 vette's transmission. As soon as I unscrewed the plug, about a quart of oil came out. The fluid should be at the bottom of the filler plug. Because there is some leakage, I expected to be filling the transmission, not cleaning up oil on the ground!
Has anyone ever experienced the oil level rise? Possibly migrating from the engine? I am experiencing leakage there as well. I'm baffled!
