Tire Size With 3" lift On 99

I Have A 99 Silverado 2wd Can I Clear 35" 's With A 3" Body Lift?

If you find out what the largest tire for a 2 wd with 3" body lift let me know, I have been asking the same question. I have heard 285/75/16 will work good, and then some say 33/12.50/16 will and some say they won't, I bet a 35 will not work from the yes/no/maybe's I am getting

99 Silverado with 285/75/16s

I have a 99 Silverado Extra Cab 2WD - Just put on 285/75/16s and they work fine - no lift kit involved - MINOR rub on the front sway bar when the wheel is fully turned - other than that, no problem.

Matt - nope, not that I am aware off - just purchased a couple of months ago with 23k miles - if anything, the rear may have been lowered to level it off -They look great!
