Blowen fuel injector fuse
I can't figure out what is wrong with my neon. The fuel injector fuse will blow out after the car runs for a mile. I figured it was the fuel pump motor shorting out after it got hot, but I found out that it did the same thing with a new $200.00 fuel pump. I swapped the fuel relay with the horn relay. I checked for codes and there was none on the computer. I check the fuel injectors for 12 ohms and the checked OK. I inspected the wire harnes for wire breaks and shorts, but it checked out OK. I hooked up a 50A meter to see what the circuit pulled under initial key switched to the on position and it read only 10A max. I used a 25A fuse to see what would melt in the circuitn and it just blew the fuse. Other than bypassing the fuse to see what melts, I'am stuck!
My thoughts are that when the defective component hot it feeds back through the circuit.
