ctr rear lip question
ok, i just got my ctr style front lip mounted and painted myself, and i was wondering why there aren't rear lips offered as much? i mean if you search ebay for a ctr style lip you mainly get front ones. Anywho, i was wondering if any of you guys have a rear lip that you've got a picture of? I'm not too sure where to find them because i don't particulary want to buy one off of ebay. So any help on this would be great, thanks.

David, Island Motorsports in Buena Park and Car Tunerz in the Eagle Rock area both carry CTR Style rear lips for Civic coupes. JDMHondaparts doesn't carry them since they deal in TRUE JDM parts, and not knock offs since there was never a real CTR rear lip made for coupes, the real ones only fit hatchbacks. I've been to their shop and know their stock from experience, heck we only live 10 miles from them, less for you probably.
Also if you go to Island Motorsports shop, mention you saw them on Group Buy Center, and you should be able to get a CTR style rear lip for about $50 plus tax, not too bad, ehh?

yeah man i checked islandmotorsports website, if they carry them they don't have it on their website. For a shameless plug, i bought my front lip from them and they got it delivered so fast, though the screws they gave me need to be replaced with bolts and nuts soon. Yeah i knew there type-r was the hatchback but i've seen knockoffs from ebay so i knew they existed for the rear but i was looking for a more reputable company. Buena Park is a little far for me to drive just for a lip. I'll go to Island when you hit up Autolink.
Since i didn't see it on their website i'll check Car Tunerz, thanks matt. Anyone got any pics?

They DO have it at Islands, their site sucks though, plain and simple, you can't find half the things they sell on it. Look under them on www.groupbuycenter.com and they should have a buy on it, that's how I found out they carry them.

ah more good advice from ya matt. i just emailed them about it and they did say they didn't have it on their website but they have them for sale. I checked them out on group buy and all they have for sale is type r headlights.
Ricochet, you drive a hatch though right? I don't think i've seen a decent pic with a type r lip on a hatch so knock yourself out. Have any problems with exhaust clearance?

It looks 10x better than stock and yeah my exhaust was right against it. I bought a couple $3 exhaust hangars (a bit longer, stiffer too so it wouldn't bounce up and hit it) and it solved the problem easily.

If it were a regular exhaust, no, but since mine routes under the control arm the muffler does scrape sometimes. It did that with the oem hangars too though.
