hello everybody. i just wanted to get some ideas on how i should paint diecast the right way. please help me out, i don't know whether to sand down the car with fine grit sandpaper, or just to paint over the original paint job. i havn't got started yet, and i'm gonna take my time, so all your help will be appreciated. thanks

First sand the car evenly. Second put 2 light coats of primer on the car. Next put the paint on the car, Finally put a nice clear coat on the car.

If you don't want to sand the paint off just buy some CSC(castrol Super Clean) and it will strip the paint right off.

Can i buy CSC at any automotive store? is this really intended for just stripping paint, or is it used for other things? just wondering.
