Spensor Low Headers

I am wondering if anyone has installed the headers cause i am already lookign at putting them in myself since i am a freak when it comes to more power. I already have the jwt pop charger and i changed the stock muffler to a magnaflow one that sounds and works great without the headache of getting an entire exhaust s ystem.

I've heard of one set installed, and it turned out to have some sloppy welds at the collector that you could see through and it was returned. I would assume that has been addressed. However, there is no easy way at all around the fact that the headers displace the main catalytic converters and are not street legal.

Yep, as Brent mentioned the SLR headers do not work properly with the emmissions system in the Xterra. Despite what SLR tells you they do not simply bolt in place and you will need to have some custom work done to make them work right. Unfortunately they are the only option for headers right now though because they really aren't too hot.

That said, I'm considering buying a set myself and then having them modified to work. I will also have to have new cats put in and relocated. I figure it will end up costing me about $2K by the time it's all done if I do it. Only reason I'm seriously considering it is that my manifolds crack faster than I change my underwear and now that I'm out of warranty I don't see the point in replacing them with the same crappy ass part. So I'll replace them with otehr crappy ass parts that produce more power. At least there's something in that deal!

Maybe you need to change underwear more often. I figure a manifold is good for at least a month.
