rattling @ 3000rpm

i got a 1996 240sx with 94000 miles on it.
runs great but when im at about 3000 rpm i hear this rattling noise...
when im shifting in and out of gears at around 3000 rpm i hear the rattle too... does anyone know wat is wrong? im pretty sure its comming from either the engine or maybe under my car. thanks for ur help.

check and see if your driveshaft is loose.

driveshaft or something in the shift linkage maybe...those are my guesses.

check and see if its ur heat shield...it did that on my sentra then i jusst looked under the car while it was runnin and i ripped off the rusted heat shiel lol prolly not the best thing but it worked for me . Try and see tahts my guess
