front and rear lip questions...

I'm looking at different types of rear and front lips to add a little something different. First place i looked was ebay and all i saw were CTR sytle and Mugen style one's. I'm going to go with the CTR style one's but i don't trust getting them off of ebay, i'd rather just deal with a reliable company. I've seen one front lip in person but i've never seen a rear lip actually painted on a car. The few questions i have are;
how do they get installed?
does the rear lip affect the clearance of the muffler?
would it look funny with the stock side skirts that are a duller black plastic?
are there any online sites where i could buy them both?

I have a CTR front lip. Looks pretty sweet, you are making the right choice!

I just got a Wings West rear lip. Lip kits just bolt right onto your stock bumpers. You'll have to take off the bumpers, and drill the holes for them. Then slap the lips on! Easy enough.

I am going to have some exhaust clearance problems with my lip. I dont know if it would be like that for all lips, but with my Wings West one, there will be.

Lots of websites have lip kits for sale. Most body kit websites also have lip kits they sell. Try:
www.bodykitconcepts.com
www.importfan.com
www.extremedimensions.com maybe those will help.

It might not look too bad with the stock sideskirts. I have CTR sideskirts that are color matched, they look nice. If nothing else, just get your stock sideskirts painted when you get the lips painted.

Hope this helps some!

David, locally check out www.islandmotorsports.com (in Buena Park), www.inlinefour.com (in Westminster, also the green 6th gen you see sporting the JDM front lip is my good friend Brian's car), and also check out www.jdmhondaparts.com as well (in El Monte off Garvey)

thanks matt,
I ended up getting the ctr style one off of islandmotorsports.com, hope it gets here soon. I know you explained this to me before, but how'd you attach it to your bumper? drill holes or what?
