Newb question...
Ok, I am a complete newb to cars in general.--I can't even change my own oil, lol. Anyways, I have a white 2000 Mustange 3.8L V6, and want to soup it up a lil bit. I'm not talking about doing twenty yard wheelies here, just something to make it sound good and run a lil sleeker. Can someone give me a link to a good webpage or book that would fill me in on what I need to know in order to do this? I have no idea where to start, so it needs to be pretty basic. Also, any suggestions from anyone personally on where to start *for relatively cheap* for doing this. Thanks soooooo much for any help!

If you can't even change oil your better off letting a mechanic do any work, easiest way but most expensive find a customizing shop and bring it in, tell them what you want and they'll do it but expect to pay quite a bit. But it depends on how fast you learn, if you have friends that work on their own cars, or if you do simple things that won't do much good such as k&n filters and such.

yo, don't listen to the vw character. The easiest and the cheapest way to do things is to learn how yourself. Just go find few books and read up on stuff before you try and take your time. you don't want to be a newb forever - learn how to change that oil. girls will like you more....
