Tony Blair

Because i despise Tony Blair so much this post is probably going to be biased but it seems i'm not alone.

A guy came over to ask my Parents some questions about the current government (I have no job i'm 20 i still live at home and i'm going to University) He asked a question "do you have confidence in the current government" to which the reply was "no absolutely not" he replied with "Thats the usual answer"

This seems to be what most people are thinking about Tony Blair right now and who can blame them. If you have been following the recent Hutton inquiry which is on going into the Death and problems surround Dr David Kelly then you will know it has imerged that large portions on the Iraqi Dossier where deliberatly modified so that the case for war would be stronger.

DOSSIER TIMELINE
Easter 2002: Original dossier on Iraq and three other countries dropped
3 September: Tony Blair announces there will be a dossier on the threat from Iraq's weapons of mass destruction
5 September: Campbell's first meeting about the dossier
9 September: Campbell tells intelligence chief John Scarlett he must be "100% happy" with dossier
11 September: Tony Blair sees dossier for first time
12 September: Senior intelligence officers show new material "too secret" to go into the dossier
16 September: Draft of Blair's foreword ready
17 September: Number 10 chief of staff Jonathan Powell warns that must make clear Iraq cannot attack UK now
24 September: Dossier published

I think that the Labour government is doomed. (amen to that)

Not sure if anyone cares. This also means that the whole war thing might have been misleading to the public and that it was more or less a big fat lie which everyone fell for including the American government.

Hmmm, interesting take. Since I don't live in the UK and don't keep track with what his agenda is I can't make my own conclusion up, so I dont really see a biasness(sp or even a word?) Who was this guy by the way?

Tony Blair = Prime Minister

Dr David Kelly = Researcher who apparently killed himself a couple of weeks ago = BBC's source on the quality of the Iraqi Dossier (ie Bullshit)

David kelly tells diplomat that if Irag goes to war he'll be probably found dead in a wood.

Which was what happened.
