This is a short extract from the very latest autosport mag:
Lamborghini is on the verge of announcinga full-time factory return to international racing with a major GT programme. The Audi controlled supercar marker is understood to have a budgetalready in place to go racing and has agreed a term with a partner to build, develop and run the cars. No commentwas forthcoming from Lamborghini, but FIA GT Championship boss Stephane Ratel who has close links with the company, hinted that an announcement was imminent. So there you have it, Lamborghini are PROBABLY going back to racing There is no news on whether the Murci or the Gallardo will race. Should it opt fro the Murci it would race in the top GT division probably and go up against the Ferrari 550 Maranello. If the Gallardo it would almost certainly compete against the 360 Modena in the "baby" class. Lamborghini will PROBABLY return!!!! ( Its on pg19 of the new autosport)
