And that's why you have to question if it was them or not...how would this benefit an Iraqi? Why would they do that? Plus, the story changed of what was used. First it was cement truck. Then it was a flatbed truck or something with tons of stuff on it.

It probably wasn't an Iraqi, but one of the many thugs in that region, the battle with outsiders is a huge problem.

A cement truck could mean a flat bed truck with bags of cement on it. The officials have the serial number from the frame, maybe they can track the terrorist from that.

That's why I wouldn't think an Iraqi would do this. In what way would it benefit them to hurt the UN? It wouldn't. Now you have ask yourself...who would it benefit? I don't think it's just random terror...that wouldn't make sense in this case.

Since when does terrorism make sense? It's borne out of fanatical beliefs, by nature these are neither rational or sensible. "No just cause can be furthered through terrorism".

Is it just me, or is the whole wide world goin to shit? Suicide bombings, snipers, terrorists, holy wars, one state trying to decide if they want to replace their govenor with arnold or gallagher, alot of people want a new president, but he seems to be running unopposed for 2004, man I might have to move to Sweden soon

I meant that actual terrorist groups and organizations usually claim responsibility. That's the point. They try to get a message accross or whatever, and in order to do that they want to be known. Why are many of the recent 'terrorist' activities going unclaimed? And even if they are claimed, it's through a small source...so it seems bogus.

The UN turned down a USA offer to guard that building in Iraq because they thought it would make them a 'target' with us being there. They are now learning terrorist target anyone who is trying to unite or spread democracy.
