buying neon

There is this 96 neon with 170 000 km. It is in good condition the guy wants 2400 canadian or best offer. Is this a good buy and how long do neons last.

That sound like a pretty fair deal. Just get it checked out by a mechanic. Barring any surprises, that car has a lot of miles left in it.

thanks for the reply, I would like to see some more suggestions and I'm worried about the head gasket problem that neons are prone too.
