B&G Springs & Coilovers ??

Hello all.....

I currently have Neuspeed Springs for 3 years in my 93' Civic and they are starting to sag (the car is just getting lower and lower).... I have bumped into a buddy of mine who introduced to me B&G coilovers and springs and is currently selling them...And not for a bad price.....From a few websites that I've seen, they had stated that these have been discontinued...Is that true?

Has anybody tried B&G before?

I can't seem to find any post or reviews on these....

Thanks In Advance to all that respond!

How much can you get the true coilover kit for? I have seen them listed as much as $1400-$1500 for the coilover kit. What shocks are you running with the Neuspeed springs? Any true coilover is better than some coilover sleeve spring. I dont know of anyone has them, but they seem decent. IMO I would go with a better known brand like H&R.

I wasn't much interested in the coilovers as it will be for street use, so i'm not sure on the price of the coilover kit...But I did have Koni Reds with my Neuspeeds (I love my Koni Reds - stiff, no bottoming out - definately gets the job done in Downtown Toronto ) ....I like the H&R's but would like to do a comparison between the B&G's and H&R's in terms of quality, consistent spring rate life, and how much it will lower....[not too sure if they have different applications like Eibach Prokit (1.3" drop - Civic) and Sportlines (1.85" drop - Civic) ]...If anybody else has any opinions on B&G's that would be great !

Thanks for you input bud...

BTW - Sorry for the little delay..."apparently" we had a Blackout...

I purchased my B&G's from a shop that was closing and paid only $450 for em so it was a really good deal.

Unfortunatly they are not adjustable (shocks) if your looking to pay $1000+ go with Tein's I hear they are one of the best....Im planning on getting them for my Type-R

Here is the website: www.tein.com

With the Tein Type-Flex you can purchase the EDFC module and you can then controll the damper from within the car..... nice eh?

Any good reviews on the Tokico Coilovers? Or are they comparable to H&R's ? IYO

Looking for the obvious : comfort, style and adjustability.

Tein's - just make me want to drool...Will get it for my next car though....So ya ....chked out the site...That's so unbelievable that you can change the damper from your car...The next feature for Tein, should be to adjust the ride height from your car (without hydraulics or any of that sort)...now that would be phat....!

(I believe Jeep has come out with a concept car that features hieght adjustability from the drivers seat though....I guess it's just a matter of time)

My sisters Range Rover has air bags - manually adjustable & electronically. Has about six inches of adjustment

If they implemented in-car adjustable height, it would have to be hydrolic or gas charged to work. I don't see how it could work with the normal threaded perch collars. Anywho, I LOVE my Tein SS coils.

They currently as we speak have the SS model equipped WITH Pillo-Ball mounts in development, I winder if I'll be able to add that onto mine later on...
