A cold air intake (approx. $200) if you have a manual transmission because they will not fit on automatics.

Either some NGK V Power or Bosch Plantinum +4 Spark plugs (approx. $5 ea.).

8+ mm spark plug wires ($50 a set).

These three will probably net you about 10 h.p.

However, a nitrous system is the only upgrade that you can make that will give you a major increase in power.

I went onto spswebpage, and in their product description for an AEM cold air intakem they state: "Kit fits manual transmission only! Auto trans does not accommodate pipe routing." However, I am not too familiar with the automatic transmission in Saturns, so I cannot really explain why it would not fit.

AEM cold air

The AEM cold air intake won't fit the automatice due to the location of the transmission filter. There is no way for the air intake pipe to fit around it to go into the fender. I heard that the SPS hotshot ceramic coated intake works pretty good.
