reliable car around $2000

yeah im looking for a car thats reliable but also something you can have fun with. any advice?

Any car can be fun, its all in how you use it. For 2K and reliability, you could do a lot worse then a Civic.

I'd go with a Civic. I'm in the same situation: I have about $2000, and I found a '93 CX hatchback with 120k miles for $2800. I'm gonna try to talk the owner down to 2k. I know the CX has a pitiful engine, but I'm gonna eventually save up and do a b16 swap. Check autotrader.com everyday. It helps.
