5 lug to 4 lug
Im sure we have all seen the S2000 rims they are 5 lug i would like to put them on the honda del sol which as we all know is 4 lug is there a way to chnge it to 5 or is there nothing that can be done

you could change your 4 lug hub to a 5 lug hub from like a jdm del sol or....civic might fit..

1- JDM sols are 4 lug (see attached pic)
2- adapters that bolt on to the 4 lug pattern push your rims out a good 4 inches, which is ugly. If you're gonna do it, do it right.. do an entire suspension swap to the JDM integra suspension. Not only do you get 5 lug, but you get bigger brakes, too.

yeah that would be better plus i would get disc brakes in tha back how much do u think it would cost to swap the whole thing over??? and if anyone knows a site were i can get it let me know thanks

del sol 210- I think it's about $1600 for the conversion itself plus the cost of the rims.. IMO, try to find rims that look like S2000 rims that are 4 lug. Motegi has some stuff that looks really similar.

wtf u talkin bout...? u can change tha spindle itself... 1600.00.. i really think u need to research a little more and think, cuz there are alot of type R wannabe's round here that convert there gsr's to 5 lug.. very simple and i HAVE NEVER SEEN AN ADAPTER PUSH OUT 4 INCHS.. tha most 1/2 inch... hmmm how well have u researched it..? i wonder.. 1

I've researched it pretty well, cause I thought about doing it myself, thanks. I saw people who had the adapters, and they pushed the wheels out a lot and looked really really bad. $1600 was for the bigger brakes, rims, and the conversion, which looking at it isn't too bad of a price for what you get.
And don't doubt me.

ok for the record i have seen 5 or 6 diffrent JDM Sir(b16A) del sols, and they have 5 lug. not 4 dunno why but every one i see JDM that is has them. and diffrent rims oviously.

I've seen quite a few 5 lug sols, too. All sols start off as 4 lug. It's really easy to do the swap. If you have the ability to remove bolts and then replace the bolts with something different there, you can do it. And if I were delsol210, I would lower the car while I'm at it. You've got the springs/shocks right there... smack on some skunk2's and tokicos. But I know for a fact that JDM sols are 4 lug, as are EDM.
