there were actually 2 626 turbos sold in australia. the 2L which had 87kw from factory, and the 2.2L which had around 106kw. my car as i said is the 2L its making 75kw@wheels on 6psi which is a fair whack over the standard power, its in the middle of getting a repaint atm so once painted(around 4weeks) ill get the pics up then. im not really into bodykits etc i like to have the car looking as stock as possible.ive got pics of my interior but thats bout it sorry like i said new pics soon.

do you know where...

Hey I just bought a 1990 maxda 626 touring(hatchback) 2.2 ltr lx but it's not the turbo charged. I really need to know where I can get a turbo charger that I can install and also all other 626 upgrade parts. I love the car, and it's already quick stock but I am anxious to see what it can do after I throw a little money at it and blow up some civics
thanks for any help you can give me at this point!
wes

TurboCharged

Hi Guys, I'm from Australia and also have a Mazda 626 2.2L TurboCharged 4WS Touring Hatch Limited Edition Model. Considering the price I paid and the countless features I must admit it is one of the best cars I have ever owned.

The car is in excellent condition and very well built. A very reliable car (if its well looked after) and very quick of the mark. I have no problem leaving other cars behind and the engine is very smooth with good compression.

It has almost every feature imaginable (except for keyless entry, immoblizer and car alarm, which I added later from a 96' Mazda 626, which topped it off for me). It is excellent to drive and I like it so much that I decided to purchase brand new original Mazda Workshop Manuals.

These Mazda Workshop Manuals cover every aspect of the car and provide excellent information with complete electricals.

This car was also regarded as one of the most safest S/H cars available in an accident by VACC. I would certainly recommend this car to anyone who wants Power, Features and Luxury without the high price tag of new cars.

Regards to all..
