Honda Del Sol Seat covers

Are the Seatcovers on Ebay any good for the del Sol. IF not what is a good alternative I saw the official seat cover but I drive a 93 civic and it would look stupid to have del Sol written in the seats or atleast to me it would be.

BTW what would it cost to have them reupolstered. Has anyone had that done yet?

Not trying to give you a hard time or anything, but I'm curious. If you drive a '93 Civic, why are you looking for seat covers for a Del Sol?

Did you swap in the seats from a Del Sol? Or are the seats the same in both cars? And as far as having them reupolstered, are they in that bad of shape?

I'm looking for seatcovers because I just got some Del Sols put in quiet comfortable too. Give much greater lower back support. There in great condition. Especially for 100 dollars. They are Dark grey with a green stripe. I was telling my dad I might leave them as is for a while with no seat cover instead of trying to match the tan interior of my car. But anyhow later on Id love to go with tan material for the seats and have a black stripe. Too bad I'm one of the rare ones who has the tan parts for the interior instead of a dark color that would have matched perfectly with the seats.

94SolGrl:

hehe Yeah, meet in Atlanta sounds good. I'm trying to take vacation at the end of this month tho. Any ideas on when a meet will be besides the one planned for late September? I'm up in Gainesville, but that's like 30 miles or so from mid-town so getting there won't be a problem. Just give me some forewarning so I can ask off it it's during my work schedule.

Icekid84:

Coolio, I got the exact same seats with the green stripe in mine (my car's dark green). Sorry I can't offer any info on reupolstering them or seat covers -- just not something I've looked into. I would say fabric dye, but I get a lot of negative feedback on fabric dye in the other forums. Best of luck to 'ya though.

Plastic_Fork : Thanks for the feedback, yeah my Dad was talking about dye also but who knows hehe. Yeah I wanted white but the green really grows on you.

94SolGrl : Thanks for the link. Never heard of it before but I'm checking it out now. Bit pricey for me, but I might just save up and see about reupolstering. Because I just enjoy the styling of the stripes and think it would looks pretty sweet with Tan and black stripe.
