Just checked at www.edmunds.com . Says the 90 Hatchback's curb weight is 2684 lbs. And the coupe is 2700 something.

why is everyone going on about weight? he asked if all of the '91+ 240SX's in Canada were SE's models or not, and if not, then what was the difference between the SE and a normal model.

Kenny, as far as i know, not every single car sold here was an SE, but i do not know the difference between models.

Yeah the weight listed on the car is the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) which is the manufacturer's recommended maximum weight for the vehicle, innit?

the hatchback weighs 2684 you got that right, but the coupe weighs just about 30 lbs less.

coupe=less weight then hatchback if I recall..........

SE's are just more top of the line cars, usually they had the alloy wheels, moonroof, standard power windows/locks...... nothing really performance value just more creature comforts came standard on the SE models.

when someone asks what the weight of a 240 is everyone usually jumps on him and tells him tocheck the FAQ this kid didnt even ask and 10 people have replied on weight... thats funny

gross weight confuses alot of people i think my parents put down that my truck weighs 8000 on the insurance form (it weighs 4500).
