I hope the MazdaSpeed version is included in this kit being that they simply add a different front bumper, back bumper, sideskirts, and or wing. Ok, maybe I am asking to much from the fujimi people, but then again they did jack up their prices so they should offer more now......righ!

No doubt that will be a future variation they can sell as a separate kit.

I think it would be safe to assume Fujimi will tackle this one so I won't be. I'm waiting to see what the ReAmemiya version looks like, judging by sketches in Option, it looks damn fine! Then of course the market will be flooded with heaps of body kits from the likes of C-West etc so i'll be busy just decided what treatment this kit should receive from SAS.

I still want Tamiya to do a full-detail kit of the RX8!

Then we could really start having fun

PICS FROM INSIDE THE BOX

From Hobby World

Separate front and rear leaves plenty of options open for Fujimi.

Wish it wasn't molded in red, but the wheels look decent from what I can see.

I agree with Veyron! They should mold all kits either in white or grey. This looks like a good model anyway. Can't wait to see all the variants they come out with, especially a Bomex version

it does look shockingly well made...

and to all of you saying "they should make this, or that",

you're all very wrong, they should make the X-men 2 movie car, now that's a freaking nice car.

ooh
ill be putting my widebody HKS STi WRX Coupe project on hold for a while I think. Even if Fujimi or whoever release a mazdaspeed version I want to make one myself and be among the first with one, It's more fun doing things yourself sometimes. Just my opinion, I know not everybody is like that.

The Mazdaspeed RX-8 looks tight! I wasn't interested in Mazda's line (did like the Miata though) until recently with the introduction of the Mazda 6 and now the RX-8!

I really want that kit, but from recent post HLJ has been either super slow or moderately expensive with ems. I am not going to spend that much on shipping for one kit. Can anyone reccomend some where better that ships to the U.S. fast & cheap that should have the RX-8 by now also.
Remember that EMS is cheaper up to 1.75 kg, and one kit won't weigh that much even with the packing and box.
SAL might sounds slow, but in reality, it only takes about 7 business
days from Japan to Kansas. I'm sure it'll be one day shorter to Chicago.

Judging from the kit pictures, it looks like Mazdaspeed RX-8 is highly
likely, which is a good news. Still, I'll be buying one extra to make "the blue RX-8."

I'm going to get 2 of them; 1 to build almost stock and 1 to see what I can do with a little styrene and putty.

Looks like HLJ are going to have a busy time when they get back from their holidays...
Mines on back order too along with a long over due MX5 Mk2 (like the one I drive (when the wife lets me)).

Just out of interest this will be the first Fujimi I've ordered (I'm a tamiya addict).
What are your experiences with the quality of the latest releases??
