Project Gotham 2 Xbox, an early look

Got a chance to see the Project Gotham 2 game for the Xbox in action, in a early preview copy. The game comes out in late October, but what I was able to see shows good promise. Gone is the tweaked kudo system from PG1 that would only give you points for driving like a nut case. You could win a race and still not get enough kudos to meet the objective. PG2 gives kudo for hitting apexes and carrying good speed through the turns in addition to some kudos for being a nut.

It looks like there will be at least three times as many cities as PG1. They used real photos of buidlings for the skins of the game buildings. It made the cities look great.

Since I was not playing the game, I cannot tell how good the physics are. The guy who was plaing it seemed to be happy with it.

I would say Project Gotham 2 for the Xbox is worth watching for.
