17's or 15's
I have some 17" rims that weigh 13 pounds each and i was wondering if i should use my 17" 13 lbs. rims or my 15" stock rims when i race.

with smaller diameter wheels will spin up faster than larger diameter. but 1 lb of wheel weight is equal to 8-10 lbs of static car weight so if you're 15s are really heavy then i'd go for the 17s. im not sure though, wait till CivicSiRacer or jackasssi responds, they knows a bunch about suspension.
what size tires are on the 15s? 195/50 15? Last edited by 90gs; 08-02-2003 at 08:34 AM. |
