i've never heard of a 240 with a V type engine, it would be kinda cool different, but i don't think theres any need for one. the only six cylinder i know of that are in 240's are the rb series

uknow, it may sound funny, but i've heard of this more than once.
i think its just people mistaking it for the 300zx N/A, and thinking the 300zx only comes in twin turbo

yep.
the american 240's ALL came with ka's. no exceptions. in jap they came with a ca engine 89-90 then went with the sr from 91-98. again, no exceptions........

i thnk me and 240kid have been to the same website with this swap performed, i remmeber seeing it and saying "what the fuck... the 300zx can barely hold the engine"
then i saw it in the 240 and i was like "nissan must have done that for sure" cause it was so clean and happened to be a z32 engine out of a crate or something. oh well, bullshitting a name sucks.
