Contest

Hey, Bloodhound had a good idea, we need to start up some type of contest. Anyone have any suggestion or ideas. Or is this not possible at this point in time.

This is a matter that has come up before.
There is already an annual AF Model Of The Year contest which takes place in Dec/Jan

Yeah, we should have a modern day muscle car contest ( AMT 1994, 1996, 1997 Camaro Z28 Convertable, AMT 1998 Mustang Cobra Revell Ford F-150 Lightning, Revell 1999 Mustang Cobra, Revell 1998 Saleen S-351, Revell 1994 Impala SS).. just a few ideas..

This has been talked about many times and so far the ones that we have had this year have really failed to take off and show much interest.
We have the AF Model of the year which was a huge last year and will hopefully be even bigger this year. This is the one where there should be great prizes like last year.
IMO having to many contests on AF is not really worth it and can loose there interet in having them. There are other monthly contest that are run on other sites.
Maybe next year we may run one half way through the year as well as the end of year one.

I agree with P-man,

One giant (or maybe two?) can focus everybody's interests and work , instead of having a smallish contest for every kind of different car-types.

If you do want to have your own little contest, why dno't take it easy, and go to HRmodelers BMOM, which features every MONTH great prizes, and gorgeous models? (not trying to make publicity here, just saying what it is )
