Color usually doesn't alter the insurance amount - except if you tell them its a pearl coated color. Your age is whats going to drive up the insurance costs.

Its not made any difference in mine. My 94 has a pearl paint job and the 95 does not. There is no difference in the insurance between the two cars. The fact that the insurance is the same was because they don’t have the Spyder in their system so they quoted me the same price as a regular VR4.
