Finished - Revell Integra Type R

I just completed this one after starting it 7 months ago. It got put on hold for a couple Vettes and the Ferrari 348ts.

The only problem I had was with the paint bleeding through the white decals.

Thanks goes to 'themodelkid' for sending his spare set. The second set of decals worked great to conceal the problem.

Exterior painted with Testors Red and Blue. Interior is Tamiya satin black and Testors Model Masters Flint grey.

The only addition was Scale Motorsports carbon fiber decal on the hood.

Here's the pics.

Thumbs up Cool!

And let me be the first to congratulate you on the fine use of an RX-7 rear spoiler!

This car reminds me of a modern-day tri-color red, white and blue Javelin or AMX. Looks really cool.

I know about the RX-7 spoiler because last night I was playing with my Fujimi Spirit R and my Aoshima Bomex (found at the local Hobbytown in Duluth, three bux cheaper than Hobbytown Kennesaw), seeing what the spoilers looked like. The spoiler on your Integra is the one to discard from the Spirit R. And will work perfectly on my Modena tuner that I'll build next year.

Man that looks great ! The only thing I don't like about revell is the stupid wheels on some models don't turn. Do those turn cause a pict with the wheels turned at an angle would be sweet.

I really like that paint scheme, but I think the flash is making the blue look gaudy, almost neon-like. Can you take a daylight outdoor photo in the shade, without the flash? Flash and sunlight really kills colors.

Very AMERICAN color scheme, looks suprisingly good on this car. Usually would expect to see this scheme on some Detroit Muscle.
