civiclx gun range?

Hey Mike I was wondering if they had a indoor gun range over there in Rippon? I am getting a Ruger P95 on the 29th and I wanted to find a good place to shoot it.

Hey I'm not sure. I was gonna shoot my .22 in the house here, but I didn't know if it would be a good idea seriously, we have a rubbermaid trash can with hella yard trash in it; branches, leaves etc. and I was going to put it in the garage with some extra shit...just to make sure the bullets go through...and being that the .22 isn't too loud, the neighbors probably wouldn't flip out.

but to answer your question, no I don't know of any, but I could find out for you.

there is a pit up on big hill though that I shoot on sometimes when I come up to Sonora...AND, you guys could drift on the way back down

I'll find out about Ripon for you, but if you want to go to Big Hill in the meantime, you can head down from Twain Harte or up from Colombia. It's a pit/dumping ground so you can bring bottles, cartons etc and shoot it and just leave it there. I found a tv last time that amazingly still had the screen intact so I shot that up.

and of course it is legal so you don't worry about cops. I just stop shooting when cars go by so no one has a heart attack

Okay, I guess the name of it is Barnwood Arms...It's a gun shop/shooting range. You can check 411 or the phone book. If you can't find the number, I can get it for you.

that's cool...I've only shot at an indoor range once I think. Went clay pigeon shooting at a range in the bay area once...it was my first time and I used a 12 gauge...I did really good but I don't know if I'd be that good again.

Anyway, the pit on big hill is awesome just because you can bring out all this stuff, glass bottles, tvs, microwaves, etc...blow it to pieces and then leave it there. That'd suck if you had to pick up your mess when you were done.
