I have read from some magazine a while ago that every 100 lbs you take off your car takes about .01 seconds of your 1/4 mile time, just wanted to know if anyone heard of this before. Thinking of reducing the wait of the car, thinking rear seets should add up, spare tire, floor mats, rear insulation and all the carpet materials, anyone know anything else? and of course the audio but i need that lol, put less gas, those gallons add up

I'm not sure how much it takes off of your ET, but I do know that the passenger seat weighs around 70-something lb's while the whole rear only weighs 40-something.

take out pass seat, rear seats, all removeable carpeting, personal stuff and get a lighter cat back (total of 200+lbs) , also, if your overweight, the best thing to do is shed some lbs yourself, after all, that fat slows your limbs, heart, and muscles down, which also slows down your ET (perhaps not as much, but youll also look better in your car, and 20 lbs is 20 lbs)
