To clear up a few things, this 1/24th scale plastic promo was made by the Brookfield Collectors Guild, who also made diecast promos of the '93 Intrepid ES, '93 Concorde, also '94 New Yorkers and LHS's. Unfortunately, I don't believe the company is in business anymore. Neat thing about the metal-bodied cars is they made them with all four doors operational! Pretty nice engineering feat, even today, though I'm sure it could be improved on since they were made a decade ago.

As for the Stratus, I don't believe it was based on the old K-car platform. I think Chrysler was out of that phase by '95. It was a decent, if not overly exciting car. It was good looking and has aged well. It still looks fresh, even though it's nearly 10 years old.

My model will most likely be lowered just enough to close the gap between the tires and the wheelwells, I might put on a "tasteful" rear spoiler, and an aluminum tubing exhaust tip, perhaps a twin pipe setup. Other than slapping on the Aoshima wheels/tires, I've done nothing else to the model. I've even thought about stripping it, and adding Stratus R/T badging and painting it with a brighter, more eye-catching color. Thanks for the feedback guys!

you have no clue how many of those damn Stratuses i see runnin around here. i cant go a day without seeing 10-15 of the damn cars. i know some people with a GLH and they say its fast. i have yet to find out bu i know for a fact my Saturn can't take em. but i do know what can. a Camaro, Firebird, Corvette, Syclone, Typhoon, (that's right. an SUV and a Pickup can beat it no problem. but they're no ordinary trucks. the stock Typhoon and the stock Syclone beat the Corvette off the line. and we're talkin truck versus all american muscle.) etc.

I'll take a Syclone or Typhoon over a GLH any day.
