Buying a new car

Hi. I am buying a new car in a year. It needs to be 20k or under in a year from now (so if its a few thousand over 20k now, it will prolly be around 20k in a year so). I would prolly want a used car no older than a '97 or '98. I am so far looking at a 2003 Mach 1. I would like a fast car that is stock and then I could put mods on later and make it even faster. I would also like it to handle well. I dont really care too much about the looks or comfort of the interior or exterior (although I am 6'2" so I would like a car that I can fit in and not have my head btwn my knees). Thanks for any help!
