Hey guys. I'm new to the board. I came on to ask questions about customizing my car, and found the site to be great!

Anyway, my car....It may not be the quickest thing now, but it has potential, with serious time under the hood and some money.

I have a 1993 Ford Probe. I just put a new engine with only 40,000 miles on it, as my old one had a piston rod through the block at only 80(don't comment ) So I just tuned everything up and put a new K&N intake and Flowmaster exhaust from the CatConverter. It has a custom light blue paint job with black/grey graphics. The interior has accents that were hand painted(by me) with custom matched paint to the outside. The engine wires and caps and some other things are also the same color. I have illegally dark tinted windows all the way around.
My system consists of a new Alpine headunit. 55Wx4 with 3 preouts. I have 2 year old Alpine door speakers. 120W 5" fronts and 160W 5x7 in the rear. I have 2 Kicker 150W Comp 10 Subwoofers in a hand made(also by me) custom fitted sealed box, powerd by a Power Accoustic 300W bridged amp. The box and the subs are painted to match the car.


Thats about it for right now. My friend, who is majoring in auto mechanics and is putting a 5.0 in his T-Bird right now is helping me improve and modify the engine and performance. I am doing the vsual/audio part myself with little help from anyone and little but adequate funds. I'm hoping for a completely customized machine that can run decently fast and be a home job so that I can have something that I did.

I'm not a domestics fan, but sounds like you got your car pretty hooked up ... just don't mess it up now
