Outlaw Star

I love Outlaw Star. It's a shame there was only 20-some-odd episodes. I seriously think there should be a sequel.

maybe it was just the English dubbing but it wasn't too brilliant for me. Some of it was cool though like his gun i think i missed the last episode though when it was on Cartoon Network.

Outlaw Star was interesting. I haven't read the Manga, but I've seen the Anime all the way through. I guess I'm a little hard on the series because when it fired aired back in '98, it was competing with Trigun and Cowboy Bebop. Bebop is my favorite series, and Trigun is just flat-out hilarious. So, for me, Outlaw Star will always be in the shadow of these two heavyweights. But, judged on its own merits, it's a solid anime. Definitely rather short. It's gotten some good exposure through Cartoon Network. I notice they skipped the episode where Gene has to film porn to get some special caster shells (the ones with the skulls on them). Not surprising.

Overall, it's a good series; it just doesn't stand that far from the rest of the crowd.

It was pretty good. I haven't seen it all the way through but it was interesting. I'd like to finish it sometime.

It pales in light of other anime I've seen (at least in my opinion), but was still worthy of sitting down to watch. I always liked Aisha.
