crux carbon fiber hood

Does any1 know where i can find this hood for an s14 240?

does that hood have the checkerboard looking design(or whatever you may want to call it)

I don't think I've seen a carbon fiber hood without that checker look, is it possible to get one withut it?

those r some links to the s14 model..not sure what you mean by checker board look.
Do u mean the 2 side vents?

I think he means the cross -hatching look you get from the CF weave.

IF that is the case, just paint it... or save some money and buy fiberglass.....

I'll sell my 240 to you,

Oh yesss.My friends brother has a "monster hood"(which is similiar in design to the Crux hood) on his Civic,you can REALLY feel the heat coming out.CF too so it take some weight off the front of the car.

is fiberglass lighter than carbon fiber and is there any other advantages to either of them besides weight?

I want a 91-93 240, if you had one of those I'd buy it and if I had any money

i believe its the same car.

thx ralphcare- that looks pretty close. (and should fit 240sx too)

just a thought- maybe i could modify some z3 fenders and put em on a vented cf hood. With some molding,painting,etc it would probly look pretty close to the crux.
