Interior Chrome
Ok, Sorry to put up another post about interior painting/dying/etc., but I haven't seen this one yet.
I want to have some chromed out trim on the interior of my car, but because I'm a poor bastard I can't actually afford to have someone really chrome it. Does anyone know of a good way to give textured plastics a good chrome look fairly cheap without looking cheap? THX |

Maybe a good sanding and high quality paint with primer and gloss coat. Although, I have a feeling it will come out more silver than chrome.

krylon and others actually make a chrome paint....be sure to use it correctly though...primer and clear that sort of thing....you can get tham at pretty much any store that sell spray paint for like $3-$4 bucks a can. but it may come out more silver than chrome like he said but it still looks really cool especially with black.
