I could bore one out and save money, but I dont think i could put that swirl in the bore of it. thats where the power comes from, right? someone told me as air turbulates(i think thats the word) that it starts moving faster.

that "swirl" looks like more of a restriction than anything... the "POWER" i supposed to come from the intake manifold being longer which is suppposed to make more torque..

We tried these both with the swirl and without and found that swirl actually does seem to help a little, but it is not restricting it at all. We have already thought about that and tested it. But you are right, basically most of the torque you are going to get comes from adding a inch to the intake manifold, the swirl is just a added benifit. We are working on some dyno #'s and i will post them as soon as I get them. I think this adds more torque then anything though.

If I knew someone intersted in those from you, how would they contact you? Or Your shop, which ever is the proper one. Also, you said $60, right? I'll have to ask if they are still intrested. They were intrested in them earlier, but didn't want to pay the Summit Racing price of about $100. It was a brand called Motorvation, page 61
http://www.summitracing.com/catalogs...yjune/t60.html
Also, do you only have it for the 1.6 d-series, or also for the B16's and B18's (like the LS and GSR). Thanks

Hey! yea we have them for all 92-00 civics all engines and also for the Acura 1.8 vetec and non-vetec. We are still working on the 92-95 Civic spacers, they are exactly the same spacer as the 96-00 spacer just a little bit different linkage adjustment we didnt get squared away yet.

You can get them for $69ea, but I dont want to get the thread booted, so I am not here to try to sell anything, just wanted to get some ppls opinions . But you can visit the website and then just emaio me www.umiperformance.com, its still underconstruction but we are working on it. Right now we are working on puttin Nitrous ports and vacuum ports in the spacers. So if you are nitrous you can shoto right into the spacer, also if you got a turbo you could measure your boost through the spacer, if no turbo you can just use it for vacumm. So that is a new product under development now.
